Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons to students at various levels (e.g., Key Stages 3, 4, and 5).
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth, curiosity, and critical thinking.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop individualized plans to support student learning and achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective curriculum and instructional strategies.
Monitor and report on student progress and performance, maintaining accurate records of assessments, grades, and attendance.
Encourage and promote active student participation in mathematics-related extracurricular activities or competitions.
Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of current educational practices and advancements.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (a postgraduate degree and teaching qualification are highly desirable).
Proven experience teaching mathematics at various levels, preferably within the UK curriculum.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.
Excellent organizational, time management, and classroom management skills.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
