Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to work with secondary schools in Rugby. As a Math Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and educating students in the field of mathematics. Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and interactive math lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Employ a variety of instructional techniques and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and active engagement in mathematics.
Provide individualized support and guidance to students, identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategies for their academic growth.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with other math teachers and faculty members to develop and refine the math curriculum, ensuring it remains current and relevant.
Stay updated with the latest educational developments and best practices in math teaching, implementing innovative teaching methods where appropriate.
Promote a safe and respectful classroom environment, maintaining discipline and managing behavior in accordance with the school’s policies.
Actively participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Support students in preparing for math-related exams and assist in guiding them towards higher education and career opportunities in mathematics.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (a postgraduate degree is desirable).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level, preferably in a similar educational setting.
Deep knowledge of the secondary school math curriculum and a strong understanding of key mathematical concepts and principles.
Ability to effectively communicate complex mathematical ideas to students with varying levels of proficiency.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
