Job Description

Mental Health Learning Support

T4S are working on behalf of a progressive specialist school which delivers a holistic curriculum incorporating mainstream academic teaching and learning with a wide range of therapeutic approaches to develop the whole child.

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced, forward-thinking Learning Support Assistant to join a close-knit team in supporting students, both academically and socially. You will need to be skilled in a variety of settings, be self-confident and a team player. The successful candidate will be required to help to implement a range of support strategies, and work with groups of pupils, as well as with individual pupils, in some school-based lessons.

 

You need to demonstrate an ability to be flexible and enthusiastic and be able to use your own initiative. You need to be organised and able to keep accurate records, devise and implement tracking systems for mentor outcomes and analyse and report on the impact of your team on pupil experience.

 

You require a good level of education and evidence of good behaviour management to meet the social, emotional and mental health needs of the students.
