Twenty 4 Seven Education are delighted to be working alongside a Catholic primary school in Dudley which includes a pre-school. They are looking to appoint someone with managerial experience who, from September 2022, will manage the preschool.

 

The School

This management role is offered in a Christ-centred pre-school which promotes Catholic values and morals, provides an education and welcomes those of all faiths and cultures present in the community. They aim to build children’s independence and resilience in a happy, interesting and safe environment. They also focus on building children’s self respect as well as respect for others and they have a forest school which encourages children to love and respect nature, too.

 

The Role

This long-term role of pre-school manager is to ensure the smooth running of the pre-school, in line with the whole-school procedures and policies. You will be responsible for managing and supporting pre-school staff and above all, ensuring the emotional, physical and educational wellbeing of each and every child.

This vacancy will be suited to someone who is an unqualified teacher who has managerial experience within an early years setting. The ideal candidate will have an appropriate level 6 qualification (such as EYTS or EYPS), although someone with level 3 would be considered providing they have the experience and confidence needed to effectively carry out this role.

Have a sound understanding of Early Years education and child development
Have the ability to lead, manage and encourage staff
Be able to deliver high standards and results
Be understanding of diversity and equality
Be able to manage themself and work calmly under pressure
Have the ability to communicate confidently with a range of people
Demonstrate professionalism in managing a range of issues
