Job Title: Reception Class Teacher

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Reception Class Teacher at our well-established school in Rowley Regis.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Support children in their personal, social, and emotional development, promoting a sense of belonging and independence.
Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate active learning experiences.
Monitor and assess each child’s progress, providing timely feedback to parents and implementing necessary interventions.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.
Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
Uphold the school’s policies, procedures, and standards of behavior.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a focus on early years education.
Proven experience working with reception-aged children, preferably within a school setting.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity and the ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
A nurturing and patient approach to working with young children.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
