Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – Kidderminster
A welcoming and inclusive mainstream school in Kidderminster are looking to recruit a Secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. As a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis, all of whom have EHCP’s.
The role of Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant is full time, due to start immediately with the view to continue into the new academic year for the right candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- Working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Supporting children across Year 7 to Year 11 who have EHCP’s
- Working alongside a range of professionals including the SENCO
- Additional Training provided throughout
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Good understanding of SEN
- Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN
- Able to work effectively as part of a large team, and be willing to learn
- An outgoing, forward-thinking and creative personality
- Calm and compassionate
