SEN TA – Haringey
Twenty4Seven Education is currently working with a large Secondary School in Haringey who are in need of several SEN TAs to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with Autism.
The school offers a very supportive and positive environment, ensuring staff have the training and resources needed to provide outstanding support to their students. Our client school requires full-time SEN TA’s to support pupils across the secondary age range working on a 1:1 basis with pupils with ASD. The ideal candidate would have experience in dealing with people with SEN, ideally ASD and with a caring nature and passion for improving pupils lives.
Main responsibilities:
Provide support for individual pupils inside and outside the classroom
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the
head teacher and class teachers.
To support teaching staff in the implementation of the School’s Behaviour Policy.
Support pupils with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
