SEN Teaching Assistant – Bridgend- September start
Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in the Bridgend area. The position involves behaviour management, academic development, and helping with social interactions. The role is based in a supportive Primary school with an excellent standard of education. You must have strong behaviour management skills and confidence in the classroom.
Experience working with those with complex needs is essential. It is also desirable for a suitable candidate to have knowledge of autism and strategies for managing challenging behaviour. You will be able to work effectively with other staff and pupils. The school has good public transport links and is well accessible.
The successful candidate will have:
**Previous SEN experience
**Previous experience with autism
**Relevant qualifications within supporting learning and SEN
**An up-to-date DBS (T4S can assist with this)

**Providing a range of support with Communication, Learning and Speech
