SEN Teaching Assistant – Vale of Glamorgan – ASAP

Are you looking for a rewarding role in a fantastic school that can help accelerate your career? We are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant for a full time SEN role based in the Vale of Glamorgan to start after half term.
The primary school in Barry require a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with two children across the full week. The role will predominately be with a Yr 4 student but will require some support time with a yr 2 student. This is a lovely role in a fantastic school with a great team to work with.
Desirable skills or experience –
Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years
Sensitivity and understanding
Excellent verbal communication skills
Maths & English at Pass Level or GCSE “C” or above or equivalent
To be able to liaise with a variety of staff including, class teacher, SENCO & HLTA
The school is looking to appoint the right candidate into the school ASAP. This job role is a temporary position. However, in some cases a permanent contract can arise at a later date.
