SEN Teaching assistant- Thanet- starting ASAP- Full-time/Part-Time

 

Here at Twenty 4 Seven Education, we are working hard to expand and develop. We aim to deliver support to local schools, we also support all staff with continuing professional development (CPD). We are actively seeking out exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team, to help them with getting their perfect job role with education.

We are interested in recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant who has experience of working in Early years and SEND education. This job role would be within a fabulous SEN school based in Thanet. You would be supporting all young people within the class, age ranging between 4 to 9 who have a diagnosis of ASD and complex learning needs. You would be assisting the class teacher in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment, supporting students with their growth and development, while helping manage class behavior. Typical working hours will be Monday-Friday Term time, part-time positions are available.

This school specializes in providing both day and residential education for pupils ages 4 to 19 years who have a diagnosis of ASD along with severe complex learning needs. The school is situated in Thanet and has parking available.

Requirements

Experience of working as a teaching assistant

Calm, caring, considerate, compassionate and patience

Willing to pay £51.60 for a Enhanced DBS (unless on the Update service)

Confident to work 1 to 1 with a child or young adult, who may present challenging behavior
