At Twenty4Seven Education we are currently looking for a full time and qualified Spanish teacher for a secondary school in Coventry to start in September 2023.

Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join an enthusiastic and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Department. As a Spanish Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite students’ interest in Spanish language and culture while nurturing their language skills and fostering a deep appreciation for Hispanic heritage. The position is for a full-time role, commencing in September 2023.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-structured Spanish lessons to secondary school students.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and student engagement.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievement.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to students’ diverse learning needs and styles.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Spanish language acquisition.
Promote cultural understanding and appreciation by incorporating authentic materials and activities into the curriculum.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective schemes of work and assessment strategies.
Attend departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Specialization in Spanish language and literature, or related field.
Relevant teaching experience, preferably at the secondary level.
Strong knowledge of the Spanish curriculum and proficiency in teaching Spanish to Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Enthusiasm for Spanish language, culture, and the ability to inspire students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of current teaching practices and a willingness to implement innovative approaches.
