Twenty4Seven are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work within Primary Schools in the Merthyr Tydfil area.

We have immediate employment opportunities for both day-to-day and Long-Term positions which can be full time work or part time work depending on what works best for you. Some long-term positions have the potential of developing into permanent roles.

As a Teaching Assistant for Twenty4Seven Education your role will be to assist teachers in the classroom whilst supporting the pupils’ learning and development. You will be required to provide learning and general support to the class, in small groups or on a 1-1 basis.

We welcome applicants with a relevant qualification; however, applications will be considered from people who have experience of working with children, either in the classroom or nursery settings

As a Teaching Assistant your role and responsibilities are:

Promoting good behaviour / managing challenging behaviour
Helping pupils in the classroom as effectively as possible
Supporting children with additional educational needs
Be creative and help plan learning and development with the teacher and other support staff.
Administrative tasks
