Teaching Assistant 1-1 Rowley Regis

A fantastic, warm and welcoming Primary School we work with in Rowley Regis are seeking a full time 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant. For this role you will be working with a pupil in year 4 who has an EHCP. The working times are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm term time only.

Ideally, the school are looking for someone with a level 2 or 3 relevant qualification. This role is due to start in January and will be ongoing.

The role:

·        Working 1:1 with pupil(s)

·        Working with small groups of pupils

·        Supporting the teacher

·        Helping SEND pupil to make progress and access the curriculum

The candidate:

·        A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, preferably with specific SEND knowledge

·        Must have a desire to make a positive contribution in class

·        Must have a desire to make a difference to the progress- academic, social and/or personal- of pupils with SEN

·        Need a successful track record of working with pupils

·        Classroom-based experience is useful
