Teaching Assistant – Bridgend

We at Twenty4Seven are recruiting a qualified Teaching Assistant to work in an established Primary School in the Bridgend area!

This position is full time and the successful candidate will work under the direction of teachers/ senior staff, this will usually be within a classroom setting supporting the pupils and helping staff to meet the needs of the children. The role of the teaching assistant will help the classroom teacher and work towards meeting the children’s needs.

**A good standard of general education (ie. NVQ level 2 or equivalent)

**Good numeracy and literacy skills – GCSE Maths and English

**Previous experience of working with young people

**Basic understanding of child development and learning

**Ability to use basic technology

**Ability to relate well to children and adults and respond appropriately

**Good interpersonal and communication skills

**Understanding of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
