Twenty 4 Seven Education are pleased to be working alongside a modern and inviting primary school in a residential area in Cardiff. The school is seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work within the nursery class.
The School
The school is a diverse, vibrant and caring Church in Wales school which welcomes children and families of all faiths and beliefs. The staff are dedicated in supporting pupils academically and emotionally to learn and grow as individuals.
The Role
The successful candidate will be given a fixed term role until July starting ASAP, with the possibility of this becoming permanent. They will work term-time, from 08:30 to 15:30 on weekdays.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting pupils in accessing the curriculum
Assisting pupils in day to day school life
Supporting classroom teacher
The successful candidate:
Will have experience of working within an educational setting
Will have a good command of the English language
Will have an understanding of how to support children with SEND
May have experience of working in a similar role- this is desirable but not essential. Teaching Assistant qualifications are also desirable.
