Teaching Assistant – Cardiff
Job Description
Twenty4Seven Education are looking for a part-time teaching assistant based in Cardiff to start after Easter.
This role involves working two full days Monday and Tuesday each week in a reception class. You will help the classroom teacher and work towards the children’s agreed aims and objectives. Previous experience is desirable but is not essential as we believe in utilising transferable skills. If you are seeking a change from a different career this could be the rewarding job that you are looking for.
Desirable skills or experience –
Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years
Sensitivity and understanding
Excellent verbal communication skills
To be able to carry out basis tasks on a computer or handheld device
The school is looking to appoint the right candidate after Easter. This job role is a temporary position. However, in some cases a permanent contract can arise at a later date.
