Teaching Assistant (Part-Time) – Vale of Glamorgan – ASAP

We are looking for a teaching assistant for a part-time role based in Llantwit Major to start after half term.

This role involves working two full days Monday and Tuesday each week in a reception class. You will help the classroom teacher and work towards the children’s agreed aims and objectives. Previous experience is desirable but is not essential as we believe in utilising transferable skills. Desirable skills or experience –

Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years
Sensitivity and understanding
Excellent verbal communication skills
To be able to carry out basis tasks on a computer or handheld device
The school is looking to appoint the right candidate soon. This job role is a temporary position. However, in some cases a permanent contract can arise at a later date.
