Teaching Assistant – RCT – ASAP

Twenty4Seven Education are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in an established Primary School in the RCT area!

This position is Full time and the successful candidate will work under the direction of teachers/ senior staff, this will usually be within a classroom setting supporting the pupils and helping staff to meet the needs of the children. The role of the teaching assistant will help the classroom teacher and work towards meeting the children’s needs. ** Full Time

** £60-£70 per day

What will I be doing?

** You will be working in a real variety of situations – no day will be the same. You will be supporting a range of teachers and pupils in small groups and one to one sessions – whatever is needed on that day.

** You will sometimes be accompanying groups on trips.

** Supporting assessment and evidencing learning

** Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources

** You will be helping to maintain a safe and positive environment for all learners

** You will be creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability

What you’ll need to succeed;

** You must be willing to go through out standard vetting checks as well as an enhanced DBS

** Have a passion for education and working with children

** Be able to provide recent references

** Register with the Education Workforce Council
