Twenty4Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for newly graduated University students to kick start their career in the education sector working as both a Cover Supervisor and a Teaching Assistant ASAP.
The School:
There are currently a number of schools in Coventry and Warwickshire who are all currently seeking Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants who will be teaching KS3/KS4 classes. They are looking for Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants who can constantly engage students in their work and monitor the class at the same time whilst working with individuals and in small groups.
Your new role:
As a Cover Supervisor you will need to help deliver lessons to pupils to ensure pupils develop their skills. Your role would include supervising a whole class whilst delievering an engaging lesson. You will also be required to monitor the progression of students to ensure that they are developing their knowledge. Whereas whilst working as a Teaching Assistant, you will be tasked with working alongside small groups of students and supporting them during their studies. You will also have the responsibility aof carrying out 1-1 sessions with students who require extra support
The ideal candidate:
\* Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
\* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
\* Excellent communication skills
\* Strong classroom and behaviour management
\*A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to process one with us)
