Monday – Friday (8:30-3:30) 

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant on a full time basis to start Monday 28th February until Thursday 7th April in the first instace. This will be a ‘settling in’ period before being offered a long term contact due to the needs of a specific child who requires 1:1 support.

The year 2 student does not have an EHCP but does display social and emotional needs. The role is ‘mixed’ in that sometimes it would be working alongside the child (sometimes in the classroom and sometimes in a calm space) but at other times it will be main class based supporting other learners and pupils so that another TA can work with the child.

The ideal candidate:

Qualified Teaching Assistant

Primary (Key Stage 1) experience
1:1 support or SEN experience desirable
Committed to making a difference
Passion for working with children
