Job Description

Unqualified English Teacher (SEN)
Worcester, Worcestershire
Part Time – 4 days per week

An unqualified English teacher is required in an alternative provision school in Worcester as soon as possible on an ongoing basis to manage a classroom of pupils while enabling a constructive learning environment. The students at this secondary SEN school have varying learning needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH. You will have experience working in a Special Needs setting as either a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor or Teacher.

This is a part time (4 days per week), term time only role due to commence as soon as possible on an ongoing basis however, there is possibility for a permanent contract for the right person.

You will be expected to;

  • Provide the pupils with work already set by the Teacher
  • Collect work after each lesson
  • Provide feedback where appropriate

Working as an unqualified teacher is an ideal way of building on past school experience for those looking to gain a career in the education sector or go on to complete Teacher Training.
