Ollie Donohoe

Ollie is in charge of our Education Support Team and before this, he was a teacher for eleven years. His key roles included Head of Sixth Form, IBCP Coordinator, BTEC L3 Quality Nominee, Careers Leader, Head of House and Lead Tutor. Ollie’s key strengths are in sixth form teaching and learning, pastoral care, behaviour management, teaching PE and vocational subjects.

Ollie has successful experience in improving underperformance with strategy and intervention, working with SEN students, leading and developing CPD, and working with universities, charities and external agencies. He holds various additional qualifications including NPQML, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid and Understanding Autism. In addition to this, he is also a Primary School Governor.

Katie Howes

Katie worked in a SEND school and Primary Schools across 6 years. She has experience with MLD, SLD, PMLD and ASC pupils and Early Years and KS1 pupils.

Katie currently leads the Teaching Assistant Academy. She liases with SEND schools, mentors and trains Trainee SEND Teaching Assistants. She delivers 1:1 and group CPD training sessions to T4S candidates.

Katie’s key areas include positive behaviour management, emotion regulation and SEND knowledge.

Beth Berritt

Beth worked as an MFL teacher for over ten years, and also has experience as a cover supervisor. She has mentored trainee teachers and ECTs and led transition programmes for new students.

Currently, Beth leads the Aspiring Teachers Programme and spends time coaching and supporting candidates, liaising with schools and attending interviews. Beth delivers 1:1 and group training sessions along with the rest of the team.

Beth’s key areas include interview success, lesson planning for all learners and positive approaches to behaviour management. Having taught in a grammar school, Beth is used to working with high achievers and encouraging deep thinking, using high level questioning and differentiation strategies.

Debbie

Debbie is a vital member of the team, providing administrative support, helping with the registration and vetting processes and facilitating links between candidates and Education Support.

Prior to this, Debbie has worked as an ECM Mentor in a Secondary School, as an associate lecturer in a college with NVQ students and teaching City & Guilds qualifications to students aged 13-16. Debbie also has experience in the healthcare sector.

Debbie’s key achievements all focus on helping people achieve their goals. She is a caring and dedicated member of T4S.
