Twenty4seven Education are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time at a school in Castle Vale. The working times for this role are Monday – Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. This position is long term and permanent for the right candidate.

For this role you will need to be confident working with children with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD. The structure of the day will require you to work with 2 different pupils. During the morning you will be working with a pupil in year 2 who ASC/ASD. You will then be working with a pupil in year 4 who has ADHD in the afternoon.

We are looking for a reliable and committed candidate to fill this position at this fantastic primary school.

The role:

·        Working 1:1 with pupil(s) with Autism and ADHD

·        Working with small groups of pupils

·        Supporting the teacher

·        Helping SEND pupil to make progress and access the curriculum

 

 

The candidate:

·        A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, preferably with specific SEND knowledge

·        Must have a desire to make a positive contribution in class

·        Must have a desire to make a difference to the progress- academic, social and/or personal- of pupils with SEN

·        Need a successful track record of working with pupils

·        Classroom-based experience is useful
