Psychology Teacher – Tonbridge, Kent – September

** Start date – September
** Contract – Full time, Permanent
** Salary – Main Pay Scale (M1-U3)
** Location – Tonbridge, Kent

Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, thought provoking, reliable and qualified Psychology Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Tonbridge, Kent. This full time role is to start September on permanent contract.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons across the key stages. You will also need to monitor and assess pupils to ensure pupil progress. The intention of the Psychology curriculum at this school is for students to gain a deeper understanding of human behaviour from many theoretical viewpoints. They want them to investigate and evaluate how behaviour can be shaped by oneself and the wider environment. They also want students to develop a greater understanding about how the study of Psychology impacts the wider world, using research and data analysis. The study of Psychology helps students gain vital knowledge of the science of the mind and behaviour, ultimately helping us to better understand one another.

The ideal candidate:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS)
* This role is also suitable for ECTs looking for a supportive School to complete their induction year
* Have good Psychology subject knowledge and experience of teaching across the key stages
* Be able to plan and deliver thought provoking lessons
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
