Art & Design Teacher – Nuneaton – ASAP 

Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for an artistic, creative and qualified Art and Design Teacher to teach within a Secondary School in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. This full time role is to start ASAP until July, in the first instance.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, inspire and challenge KS3 and KS4 pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. As pupils progress, they should be able to think critically and develop a more rigorous understanding of art and design. They should also know how art and design both reflect and shape our history, and contribute to the culture, creativity and wealth of our nation.

The ideal candidate:
*Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS)
* Have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting
*Be able to plan, deliver and mark engaging lessons
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong classroom and behaviour management
*A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to process one with us)
