Core Subject Teacher – Kidderminster – September

** Start date – September 2022
** Contract – Full time, Permanent
** Salary – £25,714 to £36,961
** Location – Kidderminster, Worcestershire

A fantastic School in Kidderminster are seeking a dynamic, dedicated and qualified Teacher to join their outstanding school. In particular, they are looking for an English, Maths or a Science Teacher who are able to deliver GCSE, Entry Level and Functional skills qualifications across KS3, 4 and 5. Core subjects should be vibrantly taught, engaging subjects with teachers who fully utilise interactive teaching methods in addition to the more formal approaches to engage a wide variety of learning needs. The school would also be interested in applications from Teachers who specialise in any other area but have a passion for teaching disengaged learners. This amazing new role is to start in September on a permanent basis.

The role:
As their new teacher and a vital part of their team, they require you to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, and whole staff to help create, teach and quality assure their school curriculum that inspires students to become effective lifelong learners. You will need to provide a secure and safe learning environment for all students so that they develop into self-confident and self-motivated learners. Lastly, you will need to set challenging targets for all students and staff, and provide the support, guidance and accountability framework necessary to achieve these targets.

The ideal candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have good subject knowledge in English, Maths and Science and experience of teaching across KS3/KS4 (KS5 is advantageous)
* Experience and evidence of a positive impact in a similar role
* A passion for teaching and education
* Be able to plan and deliver thought provoking lessons
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* A desire to support the well-being of students
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to showcase highly effective classroom and behaviour management
