HLTA – Kidderminster – ASAP

Location: Mainstream Secondary School, Kidderminster
Contract: Full time until July (potential to become temp to perm)
Salary: £80-£90 per day
Start: ASAP

The Role:
The School is looking to recruit a full time enthusiastic and reliable HLTA to deliver intervention groups with identified pupils. You will need to support pupils learning and progress in core subjects. You will be working alongside the teachers to support pupils in their attainment and progress in the subjects English, Maths and Science. You will need to support children’s learning up to GCSE level, be adaptable accordingly to the needs of the individual children and make observations to improve progress.

The successful candidate will:
** Have a recognised competence in English, Maths and Science
** Understand teaching and learning and who is committed to raising standards
** Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
** Have the drive and determination to make a difference
** Have the ability to engage, inspire, motivate and build excellent relationships with pupils
** Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
** Excellent communication skills

To be considered for this role you would need to have:
** Have a HLTA qualification or NVQ level 4 or equivalent
** Two references with your relevant experience within the last 5 years
** Right to work in the UK
** Enhanced DBS Certificate required (can be processed through us if necessary)
