At Twenty4Seven Education, we are currently seeking a full time qualified and passionate Music Teacher for a Secondary School in Rugby. This exciting new role is to start September on a temp to perm basis.

The School:
This ‘Good’ OFSTED rated school is looking for a qualified and ambitious music teacher who is able to build up an understanding of the musical elements including the relevant musical terminology, to allow students to listen critically to a range of music.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver dynamic  lessons to students by teaching Music, to ensure pupils are engaged in their lessons by introducing them to music across a range of historical and cultural contexts to develop understanding of how music has developed. You will also need to monitor and assess students to ensure they make maximum progress.

The ideal candidate:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS)
* Have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
*A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to process one with us)
