Science Teacher – Warwick – ASAP 

Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, dedicated and qualified Science Teacher to teach at an Independent School in Warwick, Warwickshire. This full time role is to start ASAP on a permanent contract.

They achieve this by consulting with schools, other professionals, parents/carers and most importantly with young people themselves. As an Independent School, they provide support and they will work to stop young people being further excluded from school. Independent School status means that students who would benefit from their environment for the long term can join their school and be full time permanent pupils.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons to pupils, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics and ensure pupils develop their working scientifically skills. They will need to ask scientific questions, plan investigations and record data and then they will need to go and analyse and evaluate their data.  You will need to monitor and assess students to ensure they make maximum progress.

The ideal candidate:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS) with Science as a discipline
* Have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons promoting high standards of language and literacy
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
*A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to process one with us)
