Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this friendly and inviting primary school located in a residential area in Cardiff. They are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a pupil in their Year 6 class supporting them in their day-to-day school life.

They are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will work one-to-one with a pupil in their year 6 class supporting them through their school day and helping them access the curriculum and engage in the lessons.
The Role
The successful candidate will begin working in September until the end of the academic year, working weekdays during term time from 8:30 to 15:30. They will work in the year 6 class supporting one student in their day-to-day school life as well as supporting the classroom teacher.
As a one-to-one TA you will:
Work one-to-one with a pupil in the year 6 class
Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupil in making progress not only academically but also socially and personally
Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further in the best way possible
Provide feedback to pupils to assist their development under the guidance of the teacher
Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupil with the teacher
The successful candidate:
Will be compassionate, enthusiastic, and caring
Will have experience working in similar roles with individuals on a one-to-one basis
Will have experience working within an educational setting
Will have a good command of the English language
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities
Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
