Teaching Assistant – Cardiff – 07/02/22

Twenty4Seven Education are currently recruiting for full time Teaching Assistant positions in the Cardiff area.
In this job role, you will create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work. You will need to promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their behaviour. The job role is in a year 2 class and you will be required as a general LSA. You will be responsible for the safeguarding of children, it is a requirement of this role that you adhere to all relevant safeguarding policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with a genuine desire to help pupils achieve.

Desirable skills or experience –

Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years
Sensitivity and understanding
Excellent verbal communication skills
To be able to carry out basis tasks on a computer or handheld device

The school is looking to appoint the right candidate in February. This job role is a temporary position. However, in some cases a permanent contract can arise at a later date.
