Twenty4Seven Education is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) To work in this lovely primary school located in the North of Cardiff. They are looking for an LSA to work one-to-one with a pupil in year 1 assisting them in their daily school life and in developing academically and personally.

They are looking for a one-to-one LSA who will continue this passion for learning and will support the pupil encouraging them to reach their full potential.
The Role
The successful candidate will begin working in September and will work term-time from 8:30 to 15:30 on weekdays. The successful candidate will be working 1:1 with a pupil in year 1 and will support them throughout the school year with the possibility of this becoming permanent.
As a one-to-one LSA you will:
Work one-to-one with a pupil in Year 1
Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupil in making progress academically, socially, and personally
Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further in the best way possible
Provide feedback to pupils to assist their development under the guidance of the teacher
Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupil with the teacher
The successful candidate:
Will be compassionate, caring, and enthusiastic
Will have experience working within an educational setting
Will have an understanding of how to support children with speech and language difficulties
Will have a good command of the English language
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities
Teaching assistant qualifications are also desirable but not essential
