Learning Support Assistant 

**Location: Caerphilly 

**ASAP Start

**Fulltime 

**3 Months of relevant experience required

Twenty4Seven Education is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work within this lovely primary school located in Caerphilly. They are looking for a learning support assistant to work within their learning resource base supporting children who struggle with accessing the curriculum and struggle in their daily school life.

They are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their resource base and provide a fun and passionate approach to learning. The successful candidate will become part of the team of staff who are dedicated to helping children develop academically, socially, and personally.

The Role 

The successful candidate will begin working as soon as possible and will continue till the end of the academic year with the possibility of this being extended. They will be working weekdays during term time from 8:30-15:30 working alongside the amazing team of staff to create the most accessible and inclusive learning environment possible.

The key responsibilities will include:

Work one to one with pupils with a variety of needs and abilities
Assisting the pupil with accessing the curriculum
Assisting the pupil with developing academically, socially, and personally
Work with small groups of pupils working on set learning activities
Assist in preparing and completing learning activities
Learn how best to support the pupils in their everyday school life

The successful candidate:

Will be kind, dedicated, and passionate
Will have experience working within an educational setting
Will have a good command of the English language
Will have experience working with children with ALN
Will have a minimum of 3 months of experience working with children
Teaching Assistant qualifications are also desirable but not required.
