Job Description

Twenty4Seven Education are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work within a fantastic primary school based in Newport.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday during term times from 8:30-15:30. The school is looking for an SEN Learning Support Assistant who can support and work alongside children with learning difficulties throughout their day at school and provide full academic support. Your daily rate of pay will be £75-85 per day.

The Role:

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, who can be part of a team supporting learning for pupils with SEN. You must be able to demonstrate that you are able to work within the guide -lines of our school ethos by demonstrating a caring and nurturing attitude whilst having high expectations for pupils to succeed.

We are looking for someone with…

Previous experience of working with young people
Experience working with SEN
Good numeracy and literacy skills – GCSE Maths and English
Basic understanding of child development and learning
Ability to use basic technology
Ability to relate well to children and adults and respond appropriately
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
