**Level 3 childcare or equivalent
Twenty4Seven Education is looking for a qualified and experienced teaching assistant to work in this amazing primary school located in a residential area of Bridgend. They will be working as a general teaching assistant supporting the classroom teacher and completing learning activities with small groups of children.

They are looking for a general teaching assistant who will bring a passion for learning and a positive presence to the classroom.
The Role
The successful candidate will begin working in September and will continue until the end of the academic year with the possibility of this becoming permanent. They will work term time on weekdays from 8:30 to 15:30.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupils in developing academically, socially, and personally
Lead learning activities within small groups
Work one-to-one with pupils to support their learning development
Support the classroom teacher in class management
Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities with the classroom teacher
Discuss with the pupils and teacher how best to support the pupil’s development
The successful candidate:
Will have good numeracy and literacy skills – GCSE Maths and English
Will have previous experience working within an educational setting
Will have a basic understanding of child development and learning
Ability to use basic technology
Ability to relate well to children and adults and respond appropriately
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Will have a level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent
