Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this lovely primary school located in the North of Cardiff. Theta re looking for a teaching assistant to work in their year 6 class as a general teaching assistant supporting the classroom teacher and working with pupils who are struggling to access the curriculum.

The Role
The successful candidate will begin working as soon as possible and will continue till the end of the academic year. They will be working term time Monday to Friday from 8:30-15:30 supporting the classroom teacher in the year 6 class and assisting pupils in accessing the curriculum.
As a Teaching Assistant you will:
Support the classroom teacher
Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning activities
Take small groups of pupils and complete set learning activities
Supervise during individual learning
Supervise during lunch and outdoor play
Discuss with pupils and teachers how best to support their learning
The successful candidate
Will be positive, supportive, and dedicated to learning
Will be able to assist in planning and preparation for the school day
Will be confident in helping and supporting the classroom teacher in all aspects of the role
Will have an understanding of educational teaching in subjects such as maths and English
Will have a good command of the English language
Will have a minimum of 3-months experience working with children or in an educational setting
Teaching assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
