Twenty 4 Seven Education are recruiting a Learning Mentor on behalf of a special school in Kidderminster, commencing ASAP. Initially this position is full time and temporary however, for the right candidate this position will be permanent.

About the school:
A special School that is not a “one size fits all school”. Students reap the rewards of innovative and bespoke curriculum by using Outdoor Education, delivering highly engaging and relevant lessons, as well as offering vocational, therapeutic and academic pathways according to need.

About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a learning mentor to work with students in years 7-11 and sixth form. Learning mentors work in lessons, and with individuals or small groups of students outside of lessons, supporting their learning. The successful candidates will work with students with a broad range of special educational needs including: ASD, ADHD, ODD and those who require support with numeracy and literacy. There may be an opportunity to specialise in specific areas for candidates with relevant experience and qualifications. We also have some one-to-one roles available, working specifically with individuals who have more complex needs.
