Maths Teacher

Twenty 4 Seven Education are working with a Secondary School based in Margate.

The Maths department is innovative and forward thinking. We work as a team to support each other and to help ensure that work is both enjoyable and manageable . Written feedback is minimised and systems are in place to ensure whole-class feedback is effective and efficient. We are on a journey to improve our curriculum and assessment still further, as such this is an exciting time to join our team and work alongside experienced and dedicated colleagues.

We are striving to achieve lasting change in staff and students so that math outcomes are constantly improving and that all of our students leave with true skills for life. Students currently follow the Middle Years Programme in years 7 – 9 where students work on mastering skills
that are required to develop as they transition into KS4. At KS4 students follow the Pearson Edexcel GCSE mathematics curriculum.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher to join our thriving and forward-thinking Maths Department.

The ideal candidate:

** Desire to gain experience working with children
** Demonstrate positive behaviour management
** Good communication and organisation skills
** Right to work in the UK
** Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will have to apply for a new one
