SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Thanet

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £60 – £80 per day

We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to help nurture, teach and sustain young pupils. The role is based in Thanet in an “outstanding” Ofsted rated school. The school believes in developing the social and academic potential of every student, through excellent teaching and rigorous support. This role will involve supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties and assisting them to develop their skills and behaviours.

Requirements:

·        Must be kind, caring and compassionate

·        Able to work 1:1 with children aged 4-19 years old

·        A can-do attitude

·        Must be flexible and willing to work with children of all ages and backgrounds

Desirable:

·        Degree educated

·        6 months experience working in an education related environment

·        Education related qualifications

·        Experience working with SEN students
