Your New Role:
Art and Design plays a vital role in the school’s curriculum, fostering creativity, innovation and cultural appreciation. As a Teacher here, you will:
- Inspire curiosity and nurture a love for art in students of all abilities
- Guide learners in exploring a variety of media, techniques and art forms
- Encourage critical thinking, self-expression and visual communication
- Celebrate diversity by drawing upon both traditional and contemporary influences
- Support students in building strong portfolios, achieving excellent outcomes and expressing their individuality through their work
- Assess the progress of students, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that follows the school’s behaviour policy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers to support student progress and wellbeing

Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Art & Design at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) in a school setting
- Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
- A creative, adaptable and inspirational teaching style

- Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
- Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
- Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
