A vibrant and forward-thinking Secondary School in Coventry is seeking a creative and inspirational Music Teacher to start after Easter (April) on a full-time, long-term basis.

You will deliver engaging Music lessons that explore rhythm, harmony, melody and structure, while encouraging students to compose, perform and critically evaluate music across a wide range of genres and traditions. From classroom composition to ensemble performance, your teaching will help students find their voice and develop a lifelong appreciation of music.

Requirements

✅Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✅Willingness to complete DBS, vetting and reference checks

✅Proven experience teaching Music at Secondary level

✅Create an inclusive, energetic learning environment where musical talent and effort are celebrated

✅Develop students’ understanding of notation, texture, dynamics and musical form

✅Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

✅Strong and positive behaviour management skills
