💷Salary: £80-£105 per day (paid weekly)

🕰️Hours: Full-time and part-time available

📜Contract: Daily Supply or long-term roles available

Do you have a passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive in education? We are working with a range of Secondary Schools across Coventry who are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their teams immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
  • Provide classroom support across a range of subjects in the Secondary Department
  • Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum, including those identified with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning interventions
  • Promote inclusion, positive behaviour and high standards of learning in line with school policies 
  • Support the wider school community and contribute to a safe, respectful learning environment

Ideal candidate:

  • Commitment to safeguarding in line with the ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025) statutory guidance 
  • At least 3 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school or similar setting
  • Level 2+ Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths is essential
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • A patient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting learning
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills

Vetting Checks:

  • Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
  • Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
