Job Description
T4S Education is a fast-growing agency with extensive experience in education recruitment, working with a wide network of Schools across the North East, including Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland.
We are seeking flexible, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who can provide day-to-day cover across multiple school settings.
Our Education Support programme also ensures all candidates continue to develop professionally, with access to 1-to-1 CPD and ongoing training.

Main Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day SEN support across different school settings
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Assisting class teachers and SEN staff within each school
- Preparing and supporting learning activities as required
- Maintaining flexibility, professionalism, and a proactive attitude
- Representing T4S Education positively within every placement
Requirements / Skills
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred but not essential
- Essential: Experience working with SEND pupils (Family members considered)
- Strong adaptability and willingness to work in different schools day-to-day
- Proactive, engaging, growth mindset and a can-do attitude
- Ability to take early-morning calls at 7:00am and arrive at schools for 8:20am
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle – Essential
