Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support teachers and contribute to the learning journey of young minds? If so, Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our amazing Primary schools in Newport!

Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Newport 

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to assist in planning and delivering engaging lesson plans.
Support individual students or small groups with their learning activities.
Provide guidance and supervision to students during classroom activities.
Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Support students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements.
Help in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and organization.
Contribute to the overall well-being and safety of students.

 

Requirements:

Minimum 3 months of relevant experience
Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
Passion for education and supporting students’ learning journey.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom.
